THREADJACKING: I prefer not to have threads jacked. It tends to overwhelm me when I get a bunch of notifs in my inbox for my post that aren't related to my character.
SLOWTAGGING/BACKTAGGING: I'm totally fine with slow tagging as I have to do it myself.
NSFW: Bonertown~ (Although with Adam in particular, it'll be a bit different since he's not comfortable being seen without his clothes. While I'm okay as a player, this character makes heading to bonertown a little more complicated.)
AVOIDED SUBJECTS: Cheating plots make me super uncomfortable for personal reasons. I'm pretty open to anything else , but if you have questions or are concerned I might be uncomfortable, just run it by me first. I'm always happy to talk about RP stuff!

IC CHARACTERISTICS: Information for players.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Adam is 6' and fairly lanky with long, thin limbs contrasted by his broad shoulders. He has dark blond hair that tends toward curling when it gets longer, and bright blue eyes. He often wears a bit of facial hair, a fashionable level of scruff, a habit he picked up while working. The right side of Adam's torso, his hip and thigh are all covered in scars from severe burns. Because he's still in recovery (his accident was less than a year ago), there is still a fair bit of rehabilitation required. He sees his doctors twice a week, has to participate in massaging his scar tissue and wears pressure garments under his clothing. This is noticeable to anyone who knows what they're looking at. At time of great pain and distress, he walks hunched to the right and will occasionally limp when things are especially bad.
DEMEANOR: Friendly and outgoing, on a good day, Adam will happily talk to anyone. He's approachable and generally looks warm. On a good day. There are bad days, when his injuries are taking a toll on him and he tends to close into himself. He'll look significantly different, less prone to smiling, much more physically closed off with a tendency to try and make himself look smaller than he is. He doesn't want to have to talk about his injuries and will do his best to avoid people when he's in pain.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: It entirely depends on the day. As above, on a good day, Adam is open to physical contact and affection. He's a generally warm person who likes to be touched and especially now, at a time in his life when he wonders if anyone will ever be attracted to him again, he does crave it. But on a bad day with a lot of pain, he won't be particularly welcoming of it and will shy away from even the simplest of touches.
FLIRTING: Yes please! :D Adam is definitely a flirt and loves when people flirt with him.
RELATIONSHIPS: Given that he's only just broken up with someone he thought he would be with long term, he's definitely not looking for anything. He's also relatively ashamed of his physical appearance because of the burns and so sexual relationships aren't exactly going to be something he'll jump into easily.
HOME INFORMATION: Adam lives in a beautiful condo within walking distance of the beach. It's understated, but clearly expensive. His condo is on the ground floor for accessibility reasons.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: To Adam? Not much. :)
POWERS: Adam is a powerful siren, his abilities cultivated and helped along by his parents. He doesn't sing, but he has strong powers of influence and often only has to ask someone to do something for him. His powers lie in that of suggestion, most often making people believe the things they do for him are things they already want to do, and because he's quite talented at planting the suggestion in their mind, this feeling rarely fades. People don't leave Adam feeling as if they've been taken advantage of in any way, which is a facet of his powers he's worked very hard to strengthen. He never wants to leave people feeling bad in any way and doesn't like the idea of someone walking away from him thinking he's done something wrong.
His siren form is different from the majority of those in Siren Cove. Though he doesn't know it, he comes from a very old family of sirens and when he does transform -- which is extremely rare, especially with his injuries as they are -- he takes on the form of a bird. His feet are strong and powerfully taloned, his lower half covered in dark grey feathers, his eyes bright and yellow.

RELATIONSHIP CONTROL: None at this point.
MENTAL: I'd ask this be run by me first.
FIGHTING/VIOLENCE: Probably not. Adam's still recovering from serious burns and doesn't have the range of motion and flexibility to fight. That said, I'm not against him being involved in physical altercations, but we would have to work stuff out beforehand so he doesn't just end up getting his ass horribly kicked. XD
LURING: Well, he's a siren and a pretty damn powerful one, so this would be tough. XD
MAGIC: None and he has no particular defense against magic.
